Question by anxiously curious: How to find attorneys that work pro-bono?
I need to find a good criminal defense attorney that would be willing to take a bogus case pro-bono. My husband is being charged with assault for allegedly giving his 15 year old daughter a “wedgie” (this would have happened over a year ago when she was 13 or 14) This child is a pathological liar and this is not the first time she has tried to say stuff, not only about her father, but other men as well. How can I find an attorney willing to work this case either pro-bono or cheaper than usual?

Contact the public defender. I can’t imagine any lawyer, even the worst scumbag lawyers out there taking a stand against a child abuse allegation. Actually, on second thought all lawyers are equally scum, so you may have some luck if you look around.
